"Iker you’re crazy", Sergio screamed over all the noice. "You’re the captain! You are the one that should go kiss that statue. Not me."
They were walking the stares up to the statue. Iker had dragged Sergio with him. He wanted him to do it. Sergio had saved them. He deserved to do it. He had been captain for most games and he didn’t get anything from it. Now it was his turn to do the honor.
"Sergio you’re doing it!" Iker said. "You deserve it!"
"You sure?" Sergio asked.
Iker nodded smiling. Sergio smiled so bright and gived him big kisses on both cheek. Wasn’t the first time today and surely wouldn’t be the last, Iker thought as he looked Sergio climbing to the statue.
Sergio put the flag around the statue and kissed it. Iker gave his own flag to Sergio smiling.
"Make her pretty", Iker smiled.
Iker started slowly walking away smiling. He looked how Sergio lifted the trophy and everyone shouted. It was deserved.
Sergio turned around showing Iker to come lift the trophy.
"Iker!" Sergio screamed. "Oh my captain come here!"
Sergio gave the trophy to Iker. Iker looked around and threw the trophy to air. It was amazing feeling. He looked next to him seeing Sergio celebrating with him.
They finally got here. Place they had dreamed about. They made it together.
